MICHEAL ESSIEN MEET HIS FORMER BOSS JOSE MOURINHO – HERE IS HOW HE REFER TO HIM

Essien wrote: ”Good to see daddy Jose Mourinho and the great icon and Legend Sir Bobby Charlton”
Here is why Essien refer to Sir Bobby Charlton as his great icon:
Sir Robert Charlton is an English former football player, regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, and an essential member of the England team who won the World Cup in 1966, the year he also won the Ballon d’Or.
He played almost all of his club football at Manchester United, where he became renowned for his attacking instincts and passing abilities from midfield and his ferocious long-range shot. He was also well known for his fitness and stamina.
He was cautioned only twice in his career; once against Argentina in the 1966 World Cup, and once in a league match against Chelsea. His elder brother Jack, who was also in the World Cup-winning team, is a former defender for Leeds United and international manager.

Chelsea legend John Terry celebrates his 37th birthday in bed

Chelsea legend John Terry enjoyed one of life's luxuries on Thursday morning, as he celebrated the 'perfect' 37th birthday in bed.
Terry, who has been practising his profession at Aston Villa this season, celebrated his big day with his 10-year-old twins, Georgie and Summer, who happily delivered the former Blues captain a football birthday cake.
And as Terry waited in his bedroom which, disregarding the bed of course, could have easily been mistaken for your average person's lounge, Georgie and Summer, entered past the hanging flat screen singing 'Happy Birthday' and holding the black and white spotted cake.

Goalkeeper tries to remove dog from play

Dog invades pitch in Europa League
Pitch invaders are usually nowhere near as cuddly as the one that interrupted Vardar's Europa League clash with Rosenborg. A dog ran onto the pitch at Philip II Arena before rolling over for it's belly to be rubbed when Vardar goalkeeper Filip Gacevski tried to pick it up. The Husky allowed Gacevski to give it some affection with a stroke but as soon as the stewards came out, it sensed something was awry. As the men in fluorescent jackets approached, the dog scarpered out of arms reach.

Ballon d'or 2017: Harry Kane and N'Golo Kante the only Premier League stars to crack the top 10

N'Golo Kante and Harry Kane were the Premier League's only two players to rank inside the 2017 top 10.
Chelsea's tireless midfielder added to his 2017 PFA Player of the Year award with a slot at number eight in the rankings, the highest of any Premier League player, with Luka Modric (5) the only centre midfielder above him.
Kane was the tenth-highest ranked nominee, but tellingly, the only forwards he trailed were Robert Lewandowski (9), Kylian Mbappe (7), Neymar (3), Lionel Messi (2) and Cristiano Ronaldo (1), suggesting the Tottenham striker truly ranks among the world's elite forwards.
